Please fill a newbie in on just exactly how this works. It's an e-mail account, but it has songs on it?

I've not encountered this type of thing before, but I'd love more OK Go songs!

Yep, go to gmail.google.com and log in using that info, and there are songs there to download. Just don't accidentally delete anything.

I added the other three songs from the Six Song Demo. "Fuzz" is different from the Appendices version, and "Bye Bye Baby" and "Laserlight Sister" are mixed differently or something. It sounds like the same recordings, but they're louder and clearer. So I just figured I'd put 'em up too and have the whole demo up.

Is that cool? Or do people feel it's redundant?

I'm gonna add more tomorrow, hopefully.

I'm gonna have to tell you right now that version of Have yourself a merry little christmas is orgasmic wow.......i listened to it 5 times in a row its just so smooth and sultry.....wow.....i love damian, I guess I sold out. Ooooooh! Thanks for finishing the Six Song Demo! You're right, "Fuzz" is different from the Appendices version and the EP version (aka "We Dug a Hole"). "BBB" and "LS" are the same as on Appendice, they're just better quality copies. I'm going to keep them on my iTunes just 'cause, even though it's redundant, haha.

This is excellent! I had the majority of these and then the hard drive they were on dies a painful death (taking a lot of my recent work for my class with it - man I was annoyed, it waited until the first day of the holidays though which was kind of it...)

Anyway... oh yes, thank you for letting me get these back!

Someone mentioned about posting videos if they had been captured... let me know if you want them adding as I have some and can capture more if pointed in the right direction (I have the technology to do it, but might need to know where some are that I don't have...)

Cool about the Six Song Demo

I was also thinking, what would everybody think of putting interviews up there? (clearly marked as interviews and from where) I've got a few:

I'm shocked and appalled at the live "Aren't We Dozy?"

I think the studio version is absolutely perfect wonderfulness. Hence my shock.

I'm not categorically opposed to changing things up live, but ... eeesh.

Done whining now.

I like the banter at the end, though!

"Clementine" is nice

But it's gonna take me a little while to not get annoyed by the backup vocals. Too used to the original!

That Napster Live "You're So Damn Hot" is awesome. And it's very cool having a live "1000 Miles Per Hour."

Okay, this isn't the "comment on the songs in the account" thread, I guess ....

I added the rest of what I've got. 25 more live songs (yay

I will check back later to see if there are any doubles. I had an email issue that made me send a couple things twice. It's taking a little while for the files to show up in the gmail acct., so I'll check back later.

I also put up Tim's audioblog thank-you song, "Shooting Star."

If people feel like that shouldn't be there taking up space (it's very small anyway), since it's gettable elsewhere (the blog archives), I'll take it off.

The issue is whether or not we should post them, seeing as they're still on sale and all....

Then again, I'm a total fucking hypocrite, 'cause I have both EPs but haven't actually bought them.
