Oh this shall be fun!

1. I'm doing a science degree and realised about two weeks in that I hate science.
2. I should be studying for an exam for said science degree.
3. I live in Australia but I DON'T have a pet kangaroo or koala or have BBQ's every waking moment.
4. My first gig was only a few months ago - sadness.
5. I'm sarcastic to the point of abrasiveness. But I like to pass it off by saying I have a 'dry' sense of humour.
6. I have a secret (now not so secret) crush on Conan O'Brien.
7. I truly believe that cupcakes are ten times better than muffins.
8. It takes me awhile before I consider soemone to be my friend.
9. I'm quite the introvert but everyone else thinks otherwise.

Yeah. I have friends who are 18/19 and have never had a boyfriend. And, though I'm biased, I feel safe in saying that they're all beautiful, fun, and rather ridiculous women. Most have had a couple of flings or so, but they've just never had/wanted a boyfriend. There's nothing wrong with them and it's not like they're 35 and living with 20 cats. They're young and having tons of fun anyway.

Besides, I had a boyfriend for 2 years in early high school and it really doesn't count as a relationship because, seriously, we couldn't DO anything. We couldn't drive. We couldn't go on trips. We couldn't do anything. Looking back, it was kind of stupid. I wasn't ready to anything too physical anyway, so it was a lot of sitting around on his couch, watching movies and making out. I understand some people have great relationships in high school, but it seems that most "serious" relationships in high school really aren't, in retrospect, that serious at all. Now I can do whatever I want and actually enjoy DOING things with my current boyfriend. Really, if I hadn't dated in high school, I don't think I'd be missing out on much. It was far more fun to casually go on dates without any need to be boyfriend and girlfriend.

But that's just my opinion.

It's no problem! I just always think it's ridiculous when people make a huge deal out of having a significant other, especially in high school when all you do is sit around and awkwardly make out. It's not something about which you should feel embarassed. How can you share part of yourself with someone seriously if you barely know yourself? (At least, that was my feeling. I was still working out who I was and what I wanted. I just wanted to do things that made me happy and it was easier to do that without someone attached to you.)

hahahha, thanks but I'm terrible at most advice. I AM a showpony though, so having a talkshow would fit my agenda.
