I just watched it again and now I really find it funny. They first time I was like...whoa my minds blown how do I react? So after the shock wore off, I now feel that I could watch it all day and stay entertained. I love that they incorporated two of my favorite dance moves, the robot and the Night at the Roxbury move. I wonder if they will sell those guitars for charity. Ah I have so many questions.

Thank you Emily for finding this. I can't wait to see it tomorrow on my television.

    The robot move was PRICELESS.

no problem. ok I got it off the JC, but hey. I was so happy to be able to see it today because I don't have cable, thus I am lacking MTV.
  • It's not just this video, MTV's never let anyone outside the states see any videos on their site.
  • WHOAH. THAT WAS INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I REALLY REALLY WANT TO MAKE A COSTUME LIKE THAT NOW.
  • OMG....it's more awesomer than I thought it would be!!! My mind has officially been blown!
  • MIND BLOWN. Yet again. OK Go's really good at doing that. So glad I didn't have to wait until tomorrow to see it. The anticipation was killing me!
  • My mind wasn't really blown. I enjoyed it more w/ the sound off actually. With the song playing, I kept waiting for something to happen but all that would happen would be tapestry draped figures dancing around. With the sound off, it was amusing. I guess I don't feel that the song goes much with the scenes shown. I just got kind of bored seeing figures in tapestry against a tapestry background because they were just figures moving around, figures with no expressions. It's artistic. It's different. It's interesting. But I wasn't into it. Or maybe I'm just sleepy and hungry right now. I wasn't dissapointed by any means, but I wasn't in awe either. Well, just offering a different oppinion.
  • I copied the video source file from MTV and put it here (it's in .flv format which is the same thing YouTube uses):

Tried converting it to iPod MP4 format and it looks OK except the bottom is a little fuzzy for some reason:

  • not to sound like a whiner, but it seems everyone is just saying "mind status blown" for the sake of it or because Mr. Mr. Mr. Jorge, Whom I Adore, Whom I Adore, Whom I Adore says so. Am I the only one who has more to say?

    hah sure, ill say more
i loved it. i loved the part when all the people were in the room, and the part when dan was in the front because the drummers are always in the back. and the krumpers looked a little silly dancing to ok go if you ask me. i really like it. they did a really good job!
  • i'd be lying if i said that video wasn't mildly frightening. it was funny though, i like the little kid in the fabric suit.

    (1) When you get to the site, go towards the bottom where I think it will count down from :20 (or however many) seconds.

    (2) Once the countdown is done, it will have a Click Here To Download link. That is where you will Right Click with your mouse and save it as a file to your computer.

    thank you!!
  • I was soooo hoping ihave7stars would be online tonight to save us non-statesiders. Thanks again!!
  • Okay, that was really weird. But I still laughed through the whole thing. One little surprise after another.

I'd say it's lacking the utter awesomeness of HIGA, but that's too much to expect. Maybe when I know more about how it was done, I'll be more amazed. It's still fun to watch. It's a circus! I'm ready to see it again; I'm sure there's more to catch every time.
  • "What's the best way to showcase a lot of people's unique talents without ever giving away their identity? Oh, I know! Dress them in wallpaper!"

I think I lot of it is because Mr. Mr. Mr. Jorge, Whom I Adore, Whom I Adore, Whom I Adore says it and he is our idol. Then the other part of it is that after you watch the video for the first time (or at least for me) you're totally in this OMGOMGOMG SPEECHLESS mood.

But now that I've watched it at least 5 times and let it settle in a bit I have to say that I love the parts where they are shuffling back and forth along the back wall. I find that strangely amusing. That and when they simultaneously rock out on their guitars.

This has been an awesome week so far in the OK Go world. Grammy and new video = fugging awwzome.
