It's the devil's work if you ask me. That's why I never saw anything...I'm an angel tongue.gif

    Haha good excuse.
  • Like Dan, I am also terrified of paper cuts
  • Ha ha, that's great! I love those little descriptions.
What is this Op-Ed article Damian wrote for the NY Times that they mention???!!? I want to read it!
  • Thanks much for posting that. smile.gif

Probably the one on DRM? I think I linked to it from this forum somewhere.
It was a very cogent article, I thought.
  • I know none of you were wondering, but evidently, hoopers have their own style and the girl with the hula hoop is Anah:

  • Wanting to take their music videos to the next level, OK Go turned to James Frost and Mary Fagot of Blip Boutique who have worked with the Beastie Boys, Coldplay and the Flaming Lips.

MVWire recently interviewed Frost and Fagot about the creative direction behind “Do What You Want.”

Cool pic. They've worked with her before; she's thanked on "Oh No."

Actually, I was wondering. But now I don't know who Anah is. huh.gif tongue.gif

That may have added to the awesomeness of the video.
  • I know you all missed this video from California artist Brian Bress when he took it off YouTube for whatever reason:

  • Thanks for that. smile.gif

I also want to say that I just recently watched the new DWYW video for the second time (yeah, only the second!) after being unthrilled with it when it debuted ... and I loved it!! And I was loving it again watching the big chunk of it in that CNN Damian interview. Guess I just had to get over my looking-forward-to-seeing-the-guys'-faces-ness. Like I said before, I rarely get into videos bands aren't in. Yeah, yeah, the band is in this video; you know what I mean. I'm just shocked at my turnaround--wanted to share.

  • ^^ Sheri, I am exactly the same way!
    It's growing on me.

Now the only thing I'd do differently is having just one shot of each of them without the masks on.
    Damian has to be smirking.

    EDIT:
I didn't know who the person responsible for this was so I think I found her (him? them?) at http://www.myspace.com/agnafilms. Wanted to give credit where credit is due.

    oooo, it was Trish dancing!!

-Dan talks! Dan is so cute! "Usually I walk around speaking English!" Daaaaan!!!

And it's so funny to see Damian direct! And when he was counting in the last one- shouting, hehe- sooo cute!
  • Not to be superficial, but how green did Damian's eyes look in the first segment???

ETA: Love Tim's funky-fresh dance moves in Part 2! Thank you 7Stars!!

That was what I noticed the most too! I knew he had green eyes, but never really saw just how green they were until now. wub.gif I haven't finished watching all the clips so I can't even comment on the other stuff yet. I'm a bad fan.

Awww, 7*s! Thanks so much for posting these! I finally got to watch all the videos (no sound on work computer) but wow they were totally worth the wait! I was so touched by the High School kids who didn't have a music program until this year and then one of the students had to teach the rest of the drumline because of lack of funds - I hope that this video somehow worked out into a boon for their music program. Those videos were even more fun than actually watching the finished product (as fun as the finished product was). Way Cool.

And of course - Yes, his eyes are a lovely green. wub.gif
