I got my second Gardasil in my ass! I don't mind needles much at all ('sup having odd high cholesterol as a kid. Then I hit puberty and it went away. What?). But I went in and presented my arm as per usual. The conversation went down like this:
Nurse: "Oh no! We give all the shots in the buttocks now.:
Me: "Really?"
Nurse: "Yeah. The girls find it easier because it has more fat! No one does it in the arm anymore"
Me: "OK"
So I get the shot and go off, thinking that all my friends had similar experiences. Turns out, I was THE ONLY ONE TO GET THE SHOT IN MY BUTT. My boyfriend's theory: "Maybe she just wanted to see your butt!"

i know it feels like it'll never end, but there is no greater feeling (except for 2 ) than when finals are OVER!! you'll do wonderfully and you'll get through it

I'd like to complain about the song that plays over the end-titles of "The Golden Compass". Kate Bush has written the worst song EVER. It's like "In case you didn't pay attention, this movie is about a girl named Lyra, and now I'm going to randomly find words to rhyme with her name."

The movie was pretty decent though. A little long. But Oh My G-d someone tell Kate Bush to go back to her Rubberband Girl brilliance. Kthx, bye.

So basically i have to write this paper for tomorrow and i dont know what the hell I'm doing. I seriously think I'm going to have a breakdown any moment now!! God I hate school with a passion!

I sound lame because it only has to be three pages but i have already written another paper about the same size tonight and i still have to finish a stupid study guide and do debate prep for an in class debate tomorrow and study for a spanish test in which i do not understand any of the material. i hate how i procrastinate and how tomorrow is the last day of school before break and i have all this to do. ugh.

man i complain alot! I think its me specialty

I'm having one of those insecurity things again.

First, the wrinkle...which is very illogical since I'm like, 15, so I'm so glad I got over that...

Now my stupid brain is telling me to think I have some sort of lisp where my S's are more stressed than an bankrupt businessman (not like a 'th' lisp). There's something wrong with me. I swear. Especially when tons of people told me that they loved the way I talked so "perfectly."

What. The. Heck. I must be insane.

Courtney - Don't focus on what makes you different as a bad thing. Think about how awesome and unique you are. ::hugs:: for you too.

Damian has a lisp! And that officially makes lisps sexy. Listen to his sibilant s's.
I once read a blog entry by someone with a lisp who said she was wicked happy to find out lisps, thx to Damian, can be cool.

No, it doesn't matter the length of the paper, I know how much it sucks, believe me. I'm a true procrastinator... I had a class this semester where my grade consisted of grading 6 papers and "participation" so... I had to show up to the discussion part of the class, and write some papers... every single one of them, I began writing the day they were due. THe morning they were due, with the exception of the final, which I started 2 days ahead since I had a HUGE exam the same day it was due... I know it sucks, but seriously... little board breaks, facebook breaks, anything... you can stop, and gather your thoughts and get right back on track. I mean... I don't know how your study habits are, but I'm AWFUL at it, and I can never concentrate very long... but I have faith in my fellow Katie, you can do it, and like you said... break's coming up soon!!!

Yeah my study habits are horrible. I get distracted sooo easily. I'm jealous of people who can just sit down, focus, and acutally finish something. And I hate participation grades. My mom always offers me "mental health" days but I can never take them because pretty much every freaking day I HAVE TO be at school.

But at least I am done for now! yeaaaaa!!

So my sisters ok go sweatshirt I ordered her for Christmas came in today and it is fucking HUGE! I'm really mad because I know she will never wear it if she will be swimming in it and ugh I just really wanted to get her a sweet present for once.

I had to wake up early on my first day of break and have my teeth worked on which now hurt like a mother and I have to wake up early again tomorrow morning for my first drive time which I am really not looking foward to. I really don't need this right now.

Yeah I think I visit this thread too much. Christmas cannot come soon enough!
