Funny story, Dad calls me up and says "I don't know why they ended it on such a downer." So I said "Umm, how did you think it ended, Dadu?" He says "I remember the book ending with Harry, Ginny, Ron, and Hermione watching their own kids go off to Hogwarts." I had to gently remind him that this was the movie of book 6, and that book 7 would have TWO movies to tell its story. I think he's going a bit soft.
