    My friend who was supposed to spend a few days exploring San Jose and San Francisco with me beforing attending our friend's wedding in San Jose, found out she has to work and now she can only go to San Jose for the wedding. I get to spend a week in San Jose and San Francisco by myself. Gah! I knew this would happen. This is a new job and her first job so she was afraid to ask for a few days extra. Ah, I can understand it. I'd be the same way. At least I get to plan a vacation by myself and for myself. I've always wanted to plan my own itinerary. Any suggests on what to see in that area of Cali?

    Ringo Starr was awesome!!! wub.gif wub.gif wub.gif

    The venue was small and very intimate. I was only 75 feet from him (about the length of 7 and a half cars for you parallel parkers). My seat was so incredibley awesome. I was straight in his line of sight and we did make eye contact a few times. He acknowledge everyone in the audience who screamed or waved at him.

    Hightlights included: Ringo smiling and nodding directly at me. Ringo playfully wiping imaginary sweat from his brow and pointing it at me then laughing. *Squee I just wanna squeeze him. I wanna be his friend!* No wonder he's so famous. wub.gif

    That's so beyond wicked-awesome, Tempe : )
    One of the girls I work with really loves the Beatles (as do i) and changed our background earlier this week to the album cover from Abbey Road ; ) and has little post-it notes all over the monitor with the guys names on them and hearts... haha. Made me think of you!

    I speak to you as one of the new undead. Literally, I couldn't sleep last night even though I was tired. I had to get up and do other things to try to get sleepier, but it didn't work. I woke up today at 6pm as a result.

    Do we have a thread in the music area dedicated to concert reviews? We have different bands and such, but I was thinking of starting a thread for the miscellaneous shows we see of bands who do not have their own thread. Or does that already exist? Cause if it does exist, that's where I'll put the Ringo write-up.
