I've been enjoying this thread, too, and I have to say, Sally, I'm totally impressed with your ability to make these! They're great! I can't do anything like this.

Aw, thanks! Anybody could learn how to do them though; they don't really require skill (I made a tutorial somewhere in this thread). I think it's much more impressive to do something artistic and creative, requiring thought- like your awesome game
I'm gonna post here, even though none of these are very good, because I'm bored and perhaps I can entertain you: (this many moving images might take a bit to load, sorry) one of my sisters thought Damian was Harry Potter here. Not quite what I was trying for, but anyway...
this is from Lety's perfect screencap. I thought he looked like he was making a kissyface, so I thought I'd emphasize that. My friend, however, thinks he looks like he's whistling...
the Damian cube-thingy...
(the cube isn't a moving animation)
The mythic birth of Rusty Ross:
And then I played way too much with dark-scenish stuff. This is the only one of the waaay too many things I tried that my sister liked:
I made a lot of Damian with fire- I tried many with fire at his heart, but it always looked too much to me like he needed heartburn medication. And I tried along his whole body in a ghostly way, but it looked like the ghost of Damian Kulash was horribly burning. So this was the only one that came out almost sufficiently phantomish.
and then this:
These aren't very imaginative, sorry...cheap, cheap, cheap...lack of ideas
Yay! I'm glad you're entertained, Suzanne Courtney, thanks. And yes, my name is Sally- my username is kind of embarrassing since there's somebody here that has it as a real name. I didn't find out til later, and sadly, usernames can't be changed. But the real Tabatha is awesome, so I'll just think of it as in her honor, lol.
Also, would anyone happen to know why the first one is the only one that wont save to my computer (don't worry if I actually put them anywhere, I will give credit where credit is due)?
Aw, I'm so glad you guys like them. Katie, you make me blush. You're so nice ~hugs to you~ You're too sweet- I appreciate it. My friends are way way better than I am at this kind of thing- one of them is actually studying graphic design. One of these days I'm going to ask her to make some OK Go stuff.
Sure, anybody can take anything at all- they were made for your amusement If you like it, take it; it's yours for the keeping. Please don't "credit" me- I'd rather you thought of them as your own little gifts. If you like them enough to want them, that's more than I could dream.
Christine- these were made in Photoshop. There are a lot of technical and difficult (for me, anyway) techniques in Photoshop, but rest assured, the creation of animations is definitely not one of them, and anybody can learn to make them easily. I wrote a tutorial in this thread- I think it's in page 2. There are programs such as Gimp, which is free at Gimp.org, if you don't have Photoshop. There's also Corel, which is cheaper than Photoshop. I'm sure there's other stuff too, but those three are the best. As for the saving- hmm, what message do you get when you try to save? (Do you have a PC or Mac?)

Aww thanks, you shall not be credited, as you wish.
Thanks! I'll have to check that tutorial out. I just got photoshop, but I had no idea you could do that in there.

I have a PC. I can save it and all, but when I open it, it only plays a little bit of the part that Tim is in. The others worked just fine. I even tried to do "Save Target As" but it did the same thing.

^A friend of mine just said that it looks like Andy's saying "I f'ed your mom" in this pic. That totally made my day.
Muahahaha. That is so funny!
Oh and Tabetha (I think your name is Sally?), don't worry, those aren't cheap at all! It's better than I can do.
It's fun to see what you come up with. They're entertaining. Which is just what I need.

Could someone tell me how to make those?
